Frequently Asked Questions - Material
ARE YOUR MATERIALS APPROVED FOR MY AREA?
They may already be but if needed we can send you the documents and assist you in getting your area approved. All of our materials are ASTM approved.
HOW LONG UNTIL MY MATERIAL ARRIVES?
Your order will be shipped ASAP and expedite at your request. Examples of standard freight times are one day to Minneapolis, Detroit, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Louisville, Cleveland, Des Moines, Two days to Philadelphia, New York, Charlotte Three days to New England, Tampa.
IS THE QUALITY OF YOUR MATERIALS AS GOOD AS WHAT I'M CURRENTLY USING?
There are some questionable materials being sold to the market but we won't carry them. Everything we sell is produced by the top manufactures in the industry. If you have been working in this industry for some time, you may have used some of our materials before your supplier switched to a cheaper, inferior product.
HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR PRICES SO LOW WHILE PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS?
We keep a low overhead and purchase large quantities directly from manufactures which allows us to pass the savings on to you. We believe that you'll keep coming back if you're treated fairly. We pride ourselves on giving the best quality, price, service and delivery possible.
WHY IS YOUR EPOXY RESIN BLUE AND GET'S MIXED 4:1?
The blue helps insure a complete "wet out" of the liner. Using white epoxy, it is nearly impossible to know if you have saturated the liner completely leaving to future root intrusion. Our 4:1 epoxy resin, it is nearly pure so no need to pre-mix the Part A (base) as we don't add fillers (talc) to increase profits. We provide a laminated mixing chart that makes calculations easy. We also sell 2:1 resins but don't promote them as they cost you more and provide no benefit.
WHY DO YOU STOCK SO MANY TYPES OF LINERS? IT'S CONFUSING!
We want you to get the best finished product. 75% of standard or typical jobs will require 3mm stitched scim material. Depending on pipe type, bends, location you may prefer a different liner. We can help you with your selection.
DO I HAVE TO BUY A FULL ROLL OF LINER OR CALLIBRATION TUBE?
No, we can sell you any length required. That said, we may ask if something close will be ok. We end up with several partials and appreciate your help as well.
HOW MUCH PER FOOT IS YOUR MATERIAL COST ME?
It varies by the material needed and if you're ambient curing or heat curing. For fairly straight "shots" your cost is about $11-$12 ft for 4" and $15-$16 ft for 6" for all components. Add $3 to $6 for other applications.
CAN WE USE YOUR MATERIALS FOR PULL IN PLACE?
Certainly, our materials are terrific for pull or push in place and you may find they cost considerably less than what you're currently using.
